Liv Morgan didnt need a ring to command attention Thursday night.
The former WWE Womens Champion hit the red carpet at the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in Los Angelesand dropped a cryptic update on her return to WWE. Morgan, whos been out of action since June with a dislocated shoulder, stunned at the TCL Chinese Theatre as Netflix rolled out the red carpet for its flagship series. And while cameras were focused on the final season of Stranger Things, Netflix took the opportunity to ask Liv directly when shed be stepping back into the WWE ring. Her response? Shortbut far from silent.
I think that everyones just going to have to watch me, she said with a grin, dodging a concrete timeline but throwing just enough fuel on the comeback fire.
Morgans return has been one of the biggest question marks for WWE fans in 2025. She was originally slated for a match with Nikki Bella at WWE Evolution this summer, but her injury forced her out. WWE sources have maintained shes on track to be medically cleared by early 2026right as WrestleMania season heats up.
In the meantime, Liv has been turning heads outside the squared circle. Shes starring in the upcoming film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, joined ESPNs Stephen A. Smith and Dominik Mysterio in Lids new ALL CAPS holiday campaign, and previously appeared in The Kill Room with Uma Thurman and Chucky on USA Network.
Theres also a growing synergy that fans cant ignore: WWE RAW moves to Netflix in 2025the same platform powering Stranger Things. Liv Morgans appearance at the premiere might not be random at all.
Whether she returns on RAW, at the Royal Rumble, or right before WrestleMania, Liv Morgan clearly has big plansand shes making sure all eyes are on her.
