WWE is turning up the heat for NXT Gold Rush 2025and now theyre adding some international gold to the mix.
During Tuesdays episode of NXT, Chelsea Green and Ethan Pagefresh off winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles in Mexicowere celebrating their big victory when things went south fast. Their celebration was interrupted by Thea Hail and Joe Hendry, who had something else in mind for the duo.
Page initially thought Hendry was gunning for his North American Championship. But Hendry had other plans and revealed his true objective: a shot at the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles. Then came the twistHail popped out of a giant cake and left Green, Page, and Alba Fyre completely covered in whipped cream, standing tall with Hendry as the crowd erupted.
WWE later confirmed the match for NXT Gold Rush. Green and Page will now defend their titles against Hail and Hendry during the two-week event taking place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Week one of Gold Rush will air live on The CW on Monday, November 18 at 8 p.m. Eastern. Week two, set for November 25, will be taped the same night and broadcast the following week.

- NXT Womens North American Championship: Blake Monroe (c) vs. Sol Ruca (if medically cleared)
- WWE Speed Womens Championship Tournament Finals: Zaria vs. Fallon Henley or Skylar Rae
Gold Rush is already shaping up to be a wild ride, but with Joe Hendry and Thea Hail entering the mix, things just got a lot messierliterally and figuratively.
