The 24-year-old Italian comes to Turin having won the Vienna and Paris tournaments in sequence, a feat that allowed him to return to the top of the ATP rankings against all odds considering the advantage his main rival Carlos Alcaraz had over him after winning his second US Open at the end of the summer.
