Amanda Anisimova is the first player confirmed for the WTA 500 tournament at the Queen's Club in 2026.

Last year, the Queen's Club hosted a WTA tournament for the first time since 1973. One of the names that featured in the Queen's return was Anisimova, who put up a strong run and made the final after clinching multiple notable wins by beating Joddie Burrage, Sonay Kartal, and Emma Navarro. Sadly for the American, she fell just short of winning the title after being upset by Tatjana Maria in the final.

However, the Queen's run set Anisimova nicely for a huge grass season as the 24-year-old made her maiden Grand Slam final at Wimbledon a couple of weeks later. The current world No. 4 seemingly enjoyed very much her time at the HSBC Championships last year and signed up very early for the tournament that will take place in June 2026.

Anisimova was a part of WTA history at the Queen's Club

By registering a 6-3 6-4 win over Anisimova in the HSCB Championships final, Maria - who was two months away from her 38th birthday at the time - became the oldest champion at the WTA 500 level.

Im 37 years old, and I won this trophy today. In the past, people were always saying, Oh, now maybe its time. You are too old. But actually, Im a good example that even in my age you still can win big trophies. Im super proud of myself that I could win this tournament, because actually, I believed always in it, and my husband [and coach Charles-Edouard] too. Thats why we kept going," Maria said after winning the title.

Although it is still too early, it is safe to say that Anisimova will be one of the biggest names at the Queen's Club and a top favorite for the title.
