Former WWE Superstar Patrick Clark, best known as Velveteen Dream, found himself laid out in the middle of the ring after a surprise appearance by JBL at Maryland Championship Wrestlings Autumn Armageddon tour stop in Dundalk.
Clark had just secured a victory over Javari Wolf when WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield stormed to the ring. Without warning, JBL nailed Clark with his signature Clothesline from Hell and took out the person who accompanied Clark to ringside.
Clark has been rebuilding his wrestling presence on the independent scene since his release from WWE in May 2021. His exit followed allegations that he sent inappropriate messages and photos to individuals who claimed to be underage. Clark denied the allegations at the time.
In early 2024, Clark issued a public apology addressed to his family, WWE, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and former WWE talent Ashante Thee Adonis, hoping to take accountability and move forward.
JBLs involvement adds a shocking twist to Clarks latest match and leaves fans wondering if theres more to come from this unexpected post-match beatdown.
