After his performance at the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, Novak Djokovic retired from the match for third place. In an interview with the media, he pointed out that it was time to rest and address some issues with his body, sharing the hope that he will play the last two tournaments of the season.
However, Novak has not yet definitively confirmed that he will participate in those tournaments. He last appeared on the ATP tour at the Shanghai Masters, where he lost to Valentin Vacherot in the semifinals.

John McEnroe, the legend of tennis, stresses that the mixed messages from the Serbian tennis player do not give excessive optimism. McEnroe is not sure that Djokovic will perform at the ATP Finals, just like he did not perform last year either.
