During a conversation on Bertcast #700 with comedian Bert Kreischer, the UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion broke down exactly why she still claims the titlehaters be damned.
When Bert brought up the online backlash she receives for calling herself the greatest ever, Rousey didnt flinch. Instead, she gave a blunt and unapologetic explanation for why she stands by it, saying its not about egoits about facts and legacy.
Rousey explained that her definition of greatness isnt about popularity contests. Its about dominance and innovation. She believes her impact on womens MMA and sports culture cant be erased by social media critics or armchair analysts. She then addressed the uncomfortable truth that many people simply dont like when a woman unapologetically praises herselfespecially in a male-dominated arena.
