Lorenzo Musetti intends to end his season in the brightest possible way and there is no doubt that qualifying for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin represents an essential step for him to be satisfied. The Italian talent has finally channeled his talent in the right direction and has matured from all points of view, also thanks to the fact that he has become a father (a change that has made him responsible both on and off the pitch).
Lorenzo's only two regrets this year have been injuries that slowed him down between Roland Garros and the US Open, as well as not being able to win a title so far. The star from Carrara has not lifted a trophy for about three years and absolutely wants to break this fast, but he is perfectly aware that he will be able to achieve this goal if he continues to work in this way.
Despite the fatigue, Musetti also expressed excellent tennis in Vienna last week, reaching the semifinals for the second edition in a row in the Austrian capital and yielding only against a deluxe version of Alexander Zverev (who also put Jannik Sinner in serious difficulty in the final the next day).

Last effort for Musetti
Lorenzo has already arrived in Paris and is getting used to the conditions in the last Masters 1000 of the season, waiting to make his debut against his compatriot Lorenzo Sonego tomorrow. The pressure will be all on the shoulders of the 23-year-old from Carrara, who only needs to complete the job to make his season truly memorable.
"I feel more respected by the other players and I'm proud of that, because it means that I have earned it through performances and results," Musetti told 'Sky Sport Italy'. "Reaching the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin would be the perfect crowning achievement of this fantastic season and I hope no one spoils the party," he added.
Everyone is waiting for Novak Djokovic's decision regarding the ATP Finals, as the Serbian legend has not clarified yet whether or not he will be present in Turin.
