Cody Beef Franke, a popular golfer who gained attention last year as the host of Barstool Sports' podcast Fore Play, has died at the age of 31.
He gained the most popularity, as we said, just last year with his involvement, but he was equally appreciated for his videos in which he shared golf tips.
Golf fans had only positive emotions towards him because of his modesty, charisma and his way of explaining things.
According to the media, Franke died due to a sudden health problem while attending a wedding in the Dominican Republic. The cause of death is still unknown.
Immediately after his death there were reactions on social media, both from his friends and famous golf figures, who expressed their condolences to his family, calling the news tragic.

Dave Portnoy: You will never find a nicer more genuine person than Beef
Well-known figures in the golf scene, such as Barstool founder Dave Portnoy, shared similar words, saying that Beef was a humble, broad-minded person who was always willing to help those around him.
"You will never find a nicer more genuine person than Beef. It's hard to even process it right now. Just another cruel reminder that tomorrow is never promised and to live each day to its fullest. #Ripbeef," Portnoy wrote.
His love of golf is what he will be remembered for, and as part of the Fore Play podcast you could feel how much he truly loved the sport.
The PGA Tour also responded via social media, recognizing that Beef was an important figure in the sport, while stressing that everyone's thoughts are with his family.
