Elena Vesnina had a funny reaction to Carlos Alcaraz's most recent haircut as the former Russian tennis star is warning the 22-year-old that "frequent coloring causes premature baldness."
For the past month and a half, Alcaraz has been rocking a platinum blonde hairstyle. But upon arriving to the Paris Masters, the world No. 1 took it a step further when he mixed a platinum blonde color with a buzzcut. Needless to say, it quickly drew attention among fans on social media.
Vesnina, who won three Grand Slam titles in women's doubles and also had a triumph in mixed doubles, said about it, via We Love Tennis France: "Someone should stop Carlos Alcaraz. Or tell him that frequent coloring causes premature baldness."

What led to Alcaraz's radical hairstyle change?
If you can recall, Alcaraz - who usually had long hair - showed up to the US Open with a buzzcut. Although it had nothing to do with the actual tennis, it became one of the main stories of the US Open even before the tournament started. Later, the 22-year-old revealed that his brother messed up while attempting to give him a haircut, so he had no other choice but to cut it short.
"Quite different I guess. I felt like my hair was really long already. And before the tournament I said that I really want to get a haircut. Suddenly my brother just misunderstood with the machine. He just cut it and the only way to fix it is just to shave it off," the Spaniard explained at the start of the tournament.

Before meeting Jannik Sinner in the US Open final, Alcaraz indicated that he was preparing to do something with his hair if he won the title.
"Even better. Even better. You will see. You will see. Surprise. Surprise," the 22-year-old said at the time.
After beating Sinner and lifting his second US Open title, Alcaraz showed off his new platinum blonde hair a few days later on Instagram.
