Candice LeRae may not be on television much these days, but shes still making moves within WWEjust from behind the curtain. The longtime in-ring veteran is reportedly shifting her focus backstage, now taking on responsibilities as a match producer.
According to TC WrestleVotes, LeRae has recently started learning the ropes of producing matches for WWE, and shes already been put to work on WWE Main Event. One of her early assignments included producing the match taped before SmackDown in Tempe, which featured The Street Profits going up against Los Garza.
LeRaes in-ring activity has slowed down significantly in recent months. Her last televised match came during the September 23rd episode of NXT, where she was defeated by Lainey Reid. Since then, shes remained active through NXT live events but hasnt been involved in major televised storylines.
This new behind-the-scenes role could be the beginning of a longer-term transition for LeRae, whose in-ring career has earned her the respect of peers and fans alike. With her knowledge, experience, and ability to connect with talent, shes well-positioned to become a valuable part of WWEs creative and developmental process.
Should WWE focus more on transitioning in-ring talent like Candice LeRae into backstage roles? Or is there still more left in the tank for her on-screen career? Sound off in the comments.
