Coco Gauff's resume at 21 may be outstanding but the American tennis star highlights she is "not close to being satisfied," as there is a lot more she wants to achieve before calling it a career.

Gauff, the third-ranked player in the women's game, is a 10-time WTA champion after impressively winning 10 of her first 11 finals played. Of those 10 titles, two have come at the Grand Slam level - the 2023 US Open and the 2025 French Open. Also, the American has a WTA Finals title in her collection, as well as three WTA 1000 trophies.

Accomplishing your goals, for sure, that's the meaning of success, I guess on a tennis literal sense. Obviously, on a life scale sense, I definitely think being happy is the biggest reward you can have," the two-time Grand Slam champion said in an interview with the WTA website ahead of her WTA Finals title defense.

Gauff: I want more Grand Slams and the No. 1 ranking

The American didn't only want to become a Grand Slam champion, but she also wanted to do it as a teenager. And she succeeded in that goal after making it all the way at the 2023 US Open when she was 19.

When it comes to her ranking, Gauff hasn't yet reached the top spot - but she did have a career-high ranking of No. 2 in 2024 June.

When I was growing up, I definitely wanted to be the best tennis player for sure in the world. That was my goal. And I mean, it still is. I still want to be the best player. I want to reach No. 1 one day and win more slams. And I'm definitely not close to being satisfied," the reigning French Open winner underlined.

Between November 01-08, Gauff will look to add another accomplishment to her feat and win back-to-back WTA Finals titles in Riyadh.
