The ATP Finals field will be confirmed in the next two weeks. Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic are already in Turin, with Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton looking good to join them.

Casper Ruud stands far behind Lorenzo Musetti in a battle for the last spot in Turin, although he improved his chances following the ATP 250 title in Stockholm.

The Norwegian clinched his 14th ATP title and the first on an indoor court after a dominant 6-2, 6-3 victory over Ugo Humbert in 66 minutes. Ruud produced mind-blowing numbers behind the initial shot.

Like the world's biggest servers, he dropped three points in his games (!!) and offered his rival no break chances. Humbert, one of the most reliable indoor players of recent years, could not match that pace.

The Frenchman lost 45% of the points in his games and suffered three breaks from six chances presented to his rival. The Norwegian had a massive advantage from the baseline and tamed his strokes nicely after landing 22 winners and 12 unforced errors.

Casper claimed 31 consecutive points on serve and kept the pressure on the other side. He made a push on the return in the fourth game of the opener and drew the rival's mistake for a break at 15.

The Norwegian held at love in the next one and moved 4-1 in front after 17 minutes. The 2nd seed closed the seventh game at love with a winner at the net and welcomed Humbert's mistake in the next one for another break and 6-2 in 29 minutes.

Like in the opener, Casper grabbed a break in the fourth game of the second set after Ugo's backhand error. The Norwegian held at love for 4-1 and mirrored that two games later to move 5-2 in front.
