Is Chris Jericho heading back to WWE? Not so fastat least according to someone whos spoken to him directly.
During a recent episode of the Cat Corner podcast, former WCW star Ernest The Cat Miller addressed the growing speculation that Jericho might be preparing for a WWE return. While rumors are heating up online, Miller made it clear that if Jerichos going anywhere, it wont be happening immediately.
Miller confirmed that the AEW name he was talking about was indeed Chris Jericho and said he had spoken to him directly.
When co-host Ray brought up talk of a WWE Hall of Fame induction or retirement tour for Jericho, Miller shut it down quickly.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Jericho recently liked a post speculating about his WWE return, which only stirred up more online discussion. However, no firm reports have confirmed that WWE Creative is even discussing a Jericho comeback. Tony Khan also publicly stated that he loves working with Jericho and sees him as a vital part of AEWs future.
Jericho has been a cornerstone of AEW since day one, and his exitif it ever happenswould send shockwaves through the company. But for now, based on what Jericho allegedly told Ernest Miller, hes not packing his bags just yet.
