Nick Kyrgios appears to still be a firm believer in Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev's Grand Slam chances as the Australian believes either the German or the Russian will lift a Major title next season.
Zverev, 28, has been to three Grand Slam finals so far in his career, but he remains without a title on the biggest stages. In 2020, the German heartbreakingly blew a two-set lead in the US Open final against Dominic Thiem. The 28-year-old also fell short to Carlos Alcaraz in a five-set 2024 French Open final before being ousted by Jannik Sinner in straight sets in this year's Australian Open title match.
Medvedev, 29, is a Grand Slam champion but he is only 1-6 in his Major finals. His lone Slam triumph came at the 2021 US Open.

While Zverev made the final at Melbourne Park this year, it hasn't been a great season for the German since he has struggled a lot with his results, but also mental health since losing to Sinner. On the other side, Medvedev stunningly didn't make it past the second round at any Slam this year.
Kyrgios asked to drop a bold Grand Slam prediction for 2026
Zverev or Medvedev will going to win a Grand Slam in 2026. I think that those two guys are going to be hungry. Obviously Sinner and Alcaraz are the juggernauts and the titans. But I think that Medvedev and Zverev are sick of them winning all the Grand Slams. So maybe one of those two," Kyrgios said in a video for the UTS.
There is no doubt that nobody would be happier than Zverev if Kyrgios' prediction turned out correct.
I don't want to end my career as the best player of all time to never win a Grand Slam, that's for sure. I'll keep doing everything I can to lift one of those trophies," the 28-year-old said after his Australian Open final loss.
