Dont believe everything you readat least not when it comes to AI writing WWE shows.
As rumors swirled online about WWE using artificial intelligence to script storylines, Fightfuls Sean Ross Sapp shut it all down during a Q&A session on October 19, 2025. According to Sapp, top-level talent in WWE are not only rejecting the AI claimstheyre pissed about them.
That frustration wasnt isolated. Sapp said several creative team members echoed the same energy, saying they still write scripts the old-fashioned wayby hand, in coordination with the wrestlers.
While earlier reports from Wrestling Observer suggested that Cyrus Kowsari was hired to push AI-driven creative at WWE, sources inside the locker room say the storylines fans see on TV are still entirely created by humansno chatbot needed.
And based on how strongly talent reacted, it sounds like AI wont be booking WrestleMania anytime soon.
