Matt and Nick Jackson have been side-by-side for nearly twenty years, and according to them, thats never going to change.
While speaking on The Battleground Podcast, Matt Jackson made it clear that the Young Bucks are not interested in following the usual wrestling trope of tag team breakups and solo feuds. In fact, they want to rewrite the rulebook completely.
Matt praised AEW for allowing long-term storytelling and resisting the urge to tear teams apart too soon. He pointed out how most companies lean on the same tired formula: throw two unlikely partners together, then have them turn on each other after a few weeks. AEW, he says, is better than that.
Matt got even more personal, saying that if they were anywhere else, the Bucks wouldve already broken upmultiple times. He recalled their TNA run as proof.
Its a rare stance in a business built on betrayal angles, but for the Young Bucks, staying together is the story. Through reinvention, drama, and years of evolution, theyve proven that the bond between brothers can be a stronger hook than any breakup.
