Chelsea Green is living her dreambut shes got another dream waiting in the wings.
In a new interview with Womans World, the current WWE Womens United States Champion revealed that she and husband Matt Cardona have put their plans to start a family on pause following her WWE return.
Green, whos been on a roll since rejoining WWE in January 2023, explained that the opportunity to come back to the company was too big to pass upeven if it meant delaying motherhood.
The 34-year-old star made it clear that both she and Cardona want children and that the desire to start a family hasnt gone awayshes just fully focused on her wrestling career right now.
Still, Green isnt ruling anything out in the near future. If it happens, shes ready to roll with it.
Meanwhile, Matt Cardonawho has been working the independent scene and making waves outside WWErecently made his in-ring return to the company, appearing on the October 14 episode of NXT in a match against Josh Briggs. The appearance has only fueled speculation about whether Cardona could be heading back full-time.
For now, Chelsea Green is balancing success, spotlight, and sacrificeand doing it with full transparency.
