The Spaniard took charge in April, having reached nine straight ATP finals and lifting seven trophies, five notable ones and two at the ATP 500 level. More importantly, Carlos ousted Jannik in four f five big finals since May.
Their most recent duel came in the US Open title match, with the Spaniard sealing the deal in straight sets and dethroning the Italian. However, Sinner remains firmly inside the top-2, collecting enough points to keep Zverev and others behind and climb through the list of players with most consecutive weeks in the top-2.
