TNA Wrestling shattered its all-time attendance record at Bound for Glory, drawing 7,794 fans to the Tsongas Center. But instead of celebrating, the company has faced accusations that nearly half the crowd got in for free. Now Moose has stepped up to shut down the talk, making it clear the numbers are real.
The former TNA World Champion took to Twitter and called out the critics who claimed 3,000 free tickets were handed out for the event. Moose reminded fans of the leaner years when he and some of wrestlings biggest names performed in front of barely 150 people at Universal Studios and every one of those fans was comped.
Moose admitted that its normal for promotions to hand out a few hundred tickets for sponsors, family, media, and friends but said the idea of giving away thousands is flat-out wrong.
He ended his message by telling fans to focus on the positives and recognize the companys resurgence.
At the end of the day, Moose isnt letting anyone take away TNAs big moment and whether you believe the numbers or not, the energy inside the Tsongas Center spoke for itself. The company is clearly riding a wave of momentum, and Moose made sure to remind everyone that this is just the beginning of TNAs comeback story.
