Although it's been a few years since LIV Golf arrived on the golf scene, it seems that tensions still haven't completely calmed down. The situation is not as tense as before, but tensions still exist.
Brandel Chamblee is a fierce critic of the Saudi-backed project and their philosophy, and he often looks back on various phenomena in LIV Golf, stressing that the PGA Tour still leads the way.
Fans remember with nostalgia the performances of some of the golfers like Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm and others, wondering if the way is open for them to return to the PGA Tour.
Chamblee, in a guest appearance on one of the podcasts, spoke openly about the possibility of Mickelson and Koepka returning. While he's not opposed to that option, he believes both men should face the consequences upon their return to the PGA Tour.

The well-known expert and analyst points out that the PGAworks just as well without the famous faces that once adorned its colors. On the other hand, he recalls that the PGA Tour invested a lot of money to oppose LIV.
Yeah, I mean there would have to be some penalty for them to come back. There is a path, but with some time in the penalty box after they leave LIV.
I know everybody will say, we want Brooks back straight away. Well, the Tour is doing fine without Brooks Koepka, theyre doing fine without Phil Mickelson, theyre doing fine without Dustin Johnson, doing fine without Jon Rahm. There has to be some penalty.
Lets not forget, the Tour had to spend a lot of money to fight that litigation and eventually end that litigation. A lot of their rainy day fund would have gone to waste.- he said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.

Reactions on social media
If the reactions on social media are to be believed, most share their opinion with the famous analyst. Leaving the Tour you've played on for years and accepting an incredible offer from LIV should certainly have certain consequences for golfers.
However, it is still unknown what the future holds, that is, whether there will be a final agreement between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, or whether these tours will continue to lead the rivalry for years to come.
