Boris Becker applauded Novak Djokovic for the way he handled his Shanghai Masters semifinal as the German tennis icon declared the Serb "a class act."

After Carlos Alcaraz withdrew from Shanghai and Jannik Sinner exited the event early, Djokovic looked primed to win his first Masters title since 2023. Moments after the match, the record 24-time Grand Slam champion had a very special message for Shanghai sensation Vacherot, telling him: "You deserve it. You played unbelievable. Keep it going."
