TNAs Bound For Glory pay-per-view goes down in just a few hours, and all eyes are on the legendary tag team showdown between Team 3D and The Hardys. Its being billed as D-Von Dudleys last match, and now, backstage talk suggests this may be the end of the road for the entire team.
According to Fightful Select, internal chatter within TNA points to tonight being more than just a one-off appearance.
D-Von hasnt taken a bump in years, and the build toward this reunion has been years in the making. Speaking with The Boston Herald, he made it clear this return is about closure and getting to do things on his own terms.
Meanwhile, Bubba Ray Dudley isnt entertaining the idea that this match is anything less than iconic. He fired back at critics who questioned the timing or necessity of the bout.
Jeff Hardy is also embracing the moment, making it clear this isnt just a match its a celebration of everything these teams helped build.
TNA hasnt locked Team 3D into any long-term creative direction beyond Bound For Glory, so tonight might really be the last time fans see the Dudley Boyz together in a TNA ring.
