Jackson Drake is sticking with WWE. While several talents are heading out the door, WWE has decided to renew the I.D. contract of the reigning EVOLVE Mens Champion.

According to a report from BodySlam.net, Drakes contract renewal comes amid a wave of exits that includes Zayda Steel, Kylie Rae, Zara Zakher, and others who were either released, not re-signed, or chose not to re-up their deals.

Drake, the first-ever EVOLVE Mens Champion, has held the title for over 150 days. He last defended it at an NXT house show on September 27 against Dante Chen. With eight years of experience under his belt, WWE seems to see long-term value in keeping him around during a time of change.

WWE may be cleaning house, but its clear Jackson Drake isnt part of the cut list. Now the question is whether he can live up to the faith the company just showed him.
