WWE has released several people so far today, and now we have another name. Arguably the biggest name on todays release list so far has come down.
It has been reported by Bodyslam.net that Wes Lee was a part of todays releases. He will likely have a 30-day non-compete clause associated with his release, since he only had an NXT contract.
Wes Lee saw a lot of high points in WWE since joining NXT. He is a former NXT North American Champion, and he had an impressive run as champion. Alongside Nash Carter, he also captured the NXT Tag Team Championship twice and won the 2021 Mens Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Only time will tell what Wes Lee is able to do next in the pro wrestling world. He could have a lot of options on the table. Sadly, his time with WWE has come to an end.
