Another name has quietly exited WWEs developmental system. Zara Zakher, who was scouted for WWEs Independent Development program earlier this year, has confirmed that her contract has expiredand shes stepping away from the wrestling business for now.
On October 10, Zakher took to Twitter to share the news directly with fans. While she didnt close the door on a possible return, she made it clear that shes hitting pause.
Zakher was one of the standout recruits of WWEs revamped Independent Development initiative, which aimed to transition top indie prospects into the WWE system. She was originally scouted from Millennium Pro Wrestling and had wrestled for JCW, West Coast Pro Wrestling, TJPW, Prestige Wrestling, and the NJPW Academy Showcase.
Her departure adds to a wave of exits from the developmental ranks, including Lance Anoai, Drako Knox, and Stevie Turnerall confirmed to be done with WWE on the same day. As the WWE ID program continues to evolve, Zakhers exit leaves fans wondering what her next move could beif she decides to return to the ring at all.
