The Cincinnati Bengals turned to their division rivals for a much-needed solution at quarterback, acquiring Joe Flacco in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Bengals also will receive a sixth-round draft pick while the Browns landed a fifth-round pick in the trade, sources told Schefter.
Flacco joins Cincinnati two days after Bengals coach Zac Taylor was non-committal on Jake Browning's status as the starting quarterback.
The Bengals have lost all three games since Joe Burrow suffered a toe injury in Week 2, and Browning has struggled under center, throwing eight interceptions.
