
This years Blood and Guts event will be taking place on Wednesday, November 12, at the First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Many people wondered why Greensboro was chosen and now Tony Khan has revealed the actual reason for choosing this location.
While speaking to 3NT Wrestling, Tony Khan explained that Greensboro was chosen as the location for Blood and Guts because of its deep connection to wrestling history and AEWs own success there. He described Greensboro as one of the most important wrestling cities ever, a place where the story of pro wrestling simply cant be told without mentioning it.
Khan talked about AEWs past in the city, calling Revolution 2024 which featured Stings retirement match, one of the best shows in company history and his personal favorite night in wrestling.
Khan noted how the event broke multiple records, including the highest attendance and biggest gate in the history of the Greensboro Coliseum. He said it was a fitting tribute to both Sting and the citys wrestling legacy.
The AEW President added that returning for Blood and Guts feels natural, as AEW has already created great moments there. The citys passionate fanbase and strong support for AEW made it the perfect choice to host Blood and Guts there.
Tony Khan chose Greensboro for Blood and Guts 2025 to honor wrestling history and stay connected with AEWs loyal southern fans. So well just have to see if this years event will live up to expectations, especially since it will feature the first-ever Womens Blood and Guts match.
