Newcastle United's last four Champions League opponents have all been European heavyweights; Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona. But they headed to Belgium as overwhelming favourites, and thousands of expectant Geordies had made the trip, with or without tickets.
