Twenty-time Major champion Roger Federer headlines the list of nominees for the International Tennis Hall of Fame class of 2026. The Swiss is the clear favorite, with Juan Martin de Potro and Svetlana Kuznetsova joining him in the Players category.
This was an inevitable honor for the Swiss Maestro, one of the sport's most celebrated figures over the previous quarter of a century. Roger ended his career with 103 ATP titles, including 20 Majors and 28Masters 1000 shields.
The Basel native spent a record 237 consecutive weeks on the ATP throne between 2004 and 2008. Federer is best known for his fluid shot-making and effortless movement that inspired generations.
Over the years, Roger became the embodiment of tennis artistry, capturing hearts worldwide and collecting 13 Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Awards between 2004 and 2017!

Roger was still among the world's best players at the beginning of 2020. However, he experienced a knee injury that required surgeries and eventually ended his glorious career at the 2022 Laver Cup.
Juan Martin del Potro, one of the most beloved figures of his generation, joins his great rival on the ballot. The Argentine captured his only Major title at the 2009 US Open final, beating Federer in a thrilling final and ending the Swiss' streak.
Despite constant injuries and setbacks, Juan Martin extended his career and played at a high level in 2018 and 2019, embracing more deep runs at Majors and finishing with 22 ATP titles by his name.
He helped Argentina clinch the Davis Cup crown and claimed two singles Olympic Games medals in 2012 and 2016. Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova is also in contention.
