Fans immediately started speculating after WWE recently filed a trademark for the namePJ Vasa. Now it appears fans wont have to speculate anymore as the identity of the talent for whom the name was trademarked has been revealed.
WWE LFG star Penina Tuilaepa took to Twitter and announced that the recently trademarked name PJ Vasa is hers, confirming that she will now be known as PJ Vasa.
This comes after WWE filed a trademark for PJ Vasa on September 28, 2025. The move aligned with WWEs usual practice of trademarking ring names before they are introduced on television. This most recently happened to Jeff Cobb, who came to be known as JC Mateo after debuting in the company.
Penina Tuilaepa is now officially using the name PJ Vasa, starting a new chapter in WWE. The trademark filing and her announcement hint that she could appear as PJ Vasa very soon, so well have to wait and see when she will appear on NXT television.
