TheSeptember 23rd editionof WWE NXT saw TNA starsmake their appearances during the main event and officially kickstart an invasion storyline. With the September 30th episode approaching, we now have an idea of TNAs involvement on the show.
According to PWInsider, Mustafa Ali, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Mike Santana are expected to appear at this weeks NXT taping and thus they will be continuing TNAs invasion angle against NXT.
Last weeks episode of NXT featured pure chaos from TNAs side since many talent such as Eric Young, Matt Cardona, Xia Brookside, the IInspiraton and more decided to interfere in the main event match between Trick Williams and Oba Femi. TNA made it clear they were absolutely done getting disrespected by WWEs developmental brand.
This comes after we had previously reported that TNA and NXTs invasion storyline will last for a long time and that fans should expect something unconventional from TNA programming after Bound for Glory.
The TNA invasion of WWE NXT is just beginning and with Mustafa Ali, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Mike Santana expected to appear on September 30, another epic night of action is pretty much guaranteed. Both brands are leaning into unpredictable storytelling, so well have to see how they will continue to build the angle as we head towards Bound for Glory.
