
Hubert Hurkacz has officially brought his 2025 season to a close. The Polish star, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in July, announced that he will not compete in the remaining events of the season.
The former world no. 6 aimsfull recovery and a strong comeback in January 2026. The extended break from tennis will keep Hurkacz outside the top-50 in the year-end ranking for the first time since 2018.
Hubert has not played since 's-Hertogenbosch in June. He made a winning start at the grass-court event before withdrawing ahead of the second-round clash due to a back issue. A few weeks later, the Pole underwentknee surgery.

The Pole explained he feels well, with everything developing as planned. Hubert is already in the gym and on the practice court, working with physiotherapist and aiming a fresh start in 2026.
