Gail Kim has recently become a subject of controversy after her remarks about AEW star Riho really angered people. However, she ended up getting even more backlash after claiming she had a hood side to her and now she has responded to the backlash as well.

It all started when Gail Kim fired back on Twitter during her spat with Dave Meltzer, saying his behavior was frustrating enough to bring out a rare hood side of her personality. She explained that while she can get feisty, she normally avoids cursing or calling people names; so if it reached that point, she felt it was well deserved.

Gail Kim talking about hood side ended up getting her a ton of backlash, as many fans accused her of cultural appropriation, pointing out the fact that she is a Korean who grew up in Canada.

Kim then took to Twitter and responded to the backlash, stating that she was quoting Moose, who once used the phrase to describe what he called her non-classy fiery side. She asked if that term worked better for everyone and then stated that Twitter feels sensitively controversial. She added that it might need an official rulebook of dos and donts.

This comes after Jim Cornette backed Gail Kim after she got hate for her remarks about Riho. Regardless, its clear Gail Kim didnt intend to make people think she was trying to be someone shes not and her fans hope things can eventually get settled and everyone can move on from this drama for good.
