
Gable Steveson isnt slowing down after leaving WWE. Fresh off a dominant MMA debut, the Olympic gold medalist is now entering the world of professional boxingand hes doing it under the hard-hitting Dirty Boxing Championship banner.
DBX officially announced that Steveson will headline DBX 4 on October 30 in Nashville, Tennessee, where hell step into the ring against heavyweight Billy Swanson. The fight will stream live and free on YouTube, making this the next chapter in Stevesons post-WWE combat sports career.
After scoring a vicious first-round stoppage in his first MMA bout, Steveson is ready to show what he can do standing up. He called this new opportunity a necessary part of his evolution as a fighter.
The card will also feature an appearance from UFC legend and DBX co-owner Jon Jones, whos hosting an exclusive meet and greet for ticket holders. This will be Jones first-ever fan event in Tennessee, adding even more attention to the Nashville card.
Jones spoke about what this expansion means for the promotion and why Music City was the right call.
The October 30 event takes place at The Pinnacle in Nashville and will showcase DBXs unique hybrid rules, which allow Superman punches, elbows, spinning backfists, and standing ground-and-pound in a smaller ring using 4oz gloves.
With Stevesons profile rising fast in MMA and now boxing, all eyes will be on whether the former WWE prospect can transition smoothly into a new combat sports frontier.
