NBCUniversal is warning that it may pull its channels from YouTube TV if a new carriage agreement isnt reached by September 30. That means USA Network and NBC could go darkdirectly impacting fans who watch WWE SmackDown through YouTube TV.

The standoff centers around Peacock, NBCUniversals streaming platform. YouTube TV is pushing for Peacock-exclusive content to be integrated directly into its interface, allowing subscribers to access everything from one place instead of jumping between apps. But NBCU isnt playing ball.

Sources told Deadline that YouTube even offered NBCUniversal additional compensation to get it donebut the offer was rejected. NBCU reportedly felt the proposal wasnt good enough. A YouTube spokesperson made their stance clear in a public statement:

While WWE Premium Live Events now air exclusively on ESPN, SmackDown is still under the NBCUniversal umbrellamaking this dispute a real threat for fans who rely on YouTube TV to catch their weekly wrestling fix.

Talks are still ongoing, but if no deal is reached soon, fans could be left without one of WWEs most important weekly shows.
