The Beautiful Peoples contributions to TNA Wrestling in general cannot be understated, which is why they are now set to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound for Glory this year.
TNA took to their Twitter account and uploaded a video featuring Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. During the video, TNA President Carlos Silva announced that they will will be inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 12, during Bound For Glory at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
They will join Mickie James, making the class of 2025 the first all-female group to enter the Hall of Fame. All three will appear at Bound For Glory to deliver their acceptance speeches.
Founded in 2012, the TNA Hall of Fame has now honored 16 inductees, including six Knockouts: Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Traci Brooks, and now Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Mickie James.
The Beautiful People first rose to fame as a duo inspired by pop culture icons Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Known for their arrogant, glamorous characters, they aimed to cleanse the TNA roster one ugly person at a time, winning several singles and tag-team titles along the way.
The Beautiful Peoples Hall of Fame induction is long overdue. Their star power and championship success helped build the Knockouts division and opened doors for future generations of women wrestlers. So well have to see who will join them for the TNA Hall of Fame this year.
