The September 23 episode of WWE NXTsaw Fatal Influence abruptly drop Jazmyn Nyx after a backstage attack. While fans wondered if this would lead to an angle, the actual reason behind the angle has been revealed.
According to PWInsider, Jazmyn Nyx is set to leave WWE. Her contract is nearing its end and will not be renewed. This is why she was written off NXT television last night, with a backstage attack used as the storyline reason for her sudden removal from Fatal Influence.
Before the main event, cameras showed Nyx on the ground after an apparent attack, surrounded by NXT staff. Fallon Henley mentioned she had only stepped away for a minute, but Jacy Jayne used the moment to make a statement.
Jayne stated it was time to drop the dead weight, adding, only the strong survive, before walking off with Henley, confirming Nyxs removal from the group and setting up her departure from WWE.
Jazmyn Nyx spent a couple of years in NXT but unfortunately, her time with the company has come to an end. Therefore, well have to wait and see what the future holds for Nyx, as she could easily end up in promotions.
