WWEs acquisition of AAA has truly changed the Mexican Lucha Libre company in many ways and for the better as well. This is because there is expectation that AAA will match the basic NXT salaries soon enough.

While speaking on Lucha Libre Online, Lucha Libre Onlines Vice President Michael Morales reported that AAA is expected to match basic NXT salaries to help cover living costs.

Morales noted that WWEs Spanish office in Mexico already pays strong wages to both on-air talent and production staff, and that there is significant funding available. According to Morales, AAA also plans to cover hotel, meals, and other expenses when talent travels to the United States.

The bump in salary for AAA talent is definitely a big plus for everyone involved, especially since there are now restrictions imposed on AAA talent which prevents them from working in indie shows in the U.S.

WWEs takeover of AAA is reshaping the future of Lucha Libre by bringing stronger financial backing, improved working conditions, and greater chances for worldwide exposure. Matching NXT-level salaries is expected to lift morale within AAA and draw new talent from across the globe, giving Mexicos wrestling scene a much-needed boost.
