
Backstage morale in WWE isnt at an all-time high, but its far from the miserable days of the Vince McMahon era.
During a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that the current environment is stableeven if PR headaches are making things uncomfortable. Wrestlers are still being forced to deal with fallout from controversial partnerships, lawsuits, and questionable talent decisions, but theyre not spiraling the way many did during 20162022.
Stars are reportedly frustrated about answering for company scandals, but Sapp noted he doesnt ambush them at public appearances. Instead, he checks in privately when possible.
While many prefer to speak off the record, the lack of private meltdowns is a big shift from how things used to be.
The honeymoon phase under Triple H may be fading, but WWEs locker room still appears to be in a much healthier place than it was a few years ago.
WWE might be juggling lawsuits, controversy, and global deals that raise eyebrowsbut behind the curtain, the talent isnt cracking under pressure. The old days of talent quietly begging to be let go seem to be in the past, at least for now. As the PR storms keep rolling in, the real test will be whether WWEs locker room unity holds or if old cracks start to show again.
