Brock Lesnar is back, and John Cena paid for it.

WWE Wrestlepalooza went down at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was another night for John Cenas retirement tour, but it was a hard day at the office.

John Cena and Brock Lesnar have met in the ring before. The two shoo-in WWE Hall of Famers have faced each other six times in singles matches, with Lesnar holding a 4-2 record. Lesnar earned victories on SmackDown in 2002 and 2003, at Backlash 2003, and at SummerSlam 2014. Cenas wins came at Extreme Rules 2012 and at Night of Champions 2014, the latter by disqualification.

This match kicked off the historic Wrestlepalooza event, and fans were more than ready to see the contest go down. Indianapolis was getting to see John Cena for the second time on his retirement tour, which put them as the only city with that pleasure.

Alicia Taylor gave the two a great ring entrance as fans chanted for John Cena. Then Paul Heyman interrupted to do Brock Lesnars introductions as the Indianapolis fans exploded at the WWE Hall of Famers presence.

This match got started with Lesnar taking the abuse to Cena. He shoved Cena around the ring, pummeling him the whole time. Lesnar nailed a powerslam on Cena as the 17-time champion continue selling. Then, Cena ate a German Suplex before he rolled out of the ring.

Cena got back in the ring, and he fought out of a waist lock. Then Cena popped Lesnar up for an AA, but Brock got out of it and nailed him to put the former heel down. Michael Cole brought up how the AA was originally called the FU, a dig at Lesnars F5 move, so their feud has history.

John Cena nailed about four shoulder tackles and Brock Lesnar finally fell down. Then he nailed three Attitude Adjustments on Lesnar before getting a near fall. Fans were shocked by this, but Cena just went for his 5 Knuckle Shuffle, however, Lesnar nailed an F5 followed by another one, but he didnt go for the pin just yet. Instead, Lesnar yelled for Cena to get up as he went for a third. Lesnar let out a big smile after that, but he didnt pin Cena, so he nailed a fourth, fifth, and sixth F5. Then he pinned Cena for the win. After the match, Brock Lesnar hit another F5 for good measure before he left with an arena full of shocked fans.

This was a very shocking win for Brock Lesnar, and fans certainly didnt see this coming. It was certainly an interesting note for John Cenas retirement tour.
