AEW All Out had to deal with counter programming from WWE, as the main event of All Out went head-to-head with the first match of WWE WrestlePalooza. WWE has been counterprogramming AEW for a while now and Adam Page has addressed WWEs tactics.
While speaking during the AEW All Out post-show, Adam Page addressed the buzz about AEW going head-to-head with WWE and whether it affected the locker room, especially for him and Kyle Fletcher.
Page explained that while people might assume its the main topic of discussion or a source of worry, it really isnt. Page said the roster barely thinks about it, only acknowledging it when it happens.
Instead, their focus is entirely on AEWs own work and fans. With over 13,000 people attending their show and many buying pay-per-views specifically to see AEW talent, thats where their energy goes. Page stated that the real conversation backstage is about delivering the best possible performance for their audience, not about competing with WWE.
Adam Page made it clear that AEW cares more about giving fans great shows than worrying about competing with WWE. Even though WWE held a show at the same time, AEWs All Out still had a big crowd and lots of excitement. His comments show that AEW is focused on entertaining fans and staying true to its own style and thats all that matters in the end.
Do you agree with Adam Page that AEW should stay focused on its own fans and product instead of worrying about WWE? Or do you think AEW should actively counter WWEs moves to stay competitive? Sound off in the comments.
