WrestlePalooza is finally here, and while the show promises plenty of surprises inside the ring, the oddsmakers are already weighing in on whos most likely to walk away with victories.
Courtesy of BetOnline, the betting odds give fans a strong look at who the favorites and underdogs are heading into WWEs ESPN debut event.
The WWE Undisputed Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre looks like a one-sided affair according to the numbers. Cody Rhodes is sitting at -1500 while Drew McIntyre comes in at +600. That means oddsmakers see the American Nightmare as the heavy favorite to retain his title against the Scottish Warrior.
John Cena faces Brock Lesnar in a grudge match thats been brewing since SummerSlam. The odds lean toward Cena this time around, with Cena at -400 and Lesnar at +250. After weeks of brutal attacks, the bookmakers believe Cena has just enough left in the tank to overcome The Beast.
The Womens World Championship bout between IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer might be the most evenly contested on paper, but the edge goes to Vaquer. She sits at -250 compared to IYOs +170, showing that the new face of WWEs womens division is favored to take the gold.
As for CM Punk and AJ Lees massive return in a mixed tag team match against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, the numbers arent close at all. Punk and AJ are -2500 favorites, while Rollins and Lynch are sitting at +800. Oddsmakers clearly believe WWEs power couple comeback will end in triumph.
Finally, The Usos square off with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team battle. The odds back the powerhouse duo of Breakker and Reed at -400, while The Usos are at +250. This one could be a momentum-shifting win for the newer team if the lines prove correct.
