LA Knight may be making his presence felt at WWE WrestlePalooza after all.
According to PWInsider, Knight was spotted in Indianapolis ahead of the premium live event, leading many backstage to believe he could be involved in tonights broadcast. WrestlePalooza airs live on ESPN Unlimited and features five matches currently locked in, but Knights potential arrival could shake things up in a big way.
Knight has been entangled in a storyline with The Vision on Monday Night Raw for several months. Most recently, the factions enforcers Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ambushed Knight and cost him a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. But now theres added tension with Jey Uso, after both men dropped each other with finishing moves on back-to-back episodes of Raw.
Given those developments, Knights appearance would make the most sense during the tag team match featuring The Usos vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed. Whether he aligns with Jey or continues their fight remains to be seen.
WrestlePalooza marks WWEs first PLE to stream on ESPN Unlimited and is being treated as a launchpad event. The confirmed match card includes:
- WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre
- Mixed Tag Match: CM Punk & AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch
- Womens World Title (vacant): Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer
- The Usos vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
- John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar (opening the show)
Lesnars bout with Cena is his first match in years, adding even more unpredictability to an already stacked card. With LA Knight in town and several storylines set to converge, WWE could be planning a major WrestlePalooza moment to shake up the ESPN+ debut.
