Iga Swiatek wasn't distracted by what happened on Friday as the No. 1 seed routinely handled the business today and dominated 2024 Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova 6-0 6-3 to reach the Seoul semifinal.

After defeating Sorana Cirstea on Thursday, the Polish tennis star was scheduled to play against Krejcikova on Friday. But due to heavy and persistent rain that was falling throughout Friday, their match ultimately ended up being delayed and pushed to Saturday.

When Swiatek finally got to the court today, her game clicked as well as possible, impressively taking the opening eight games of the match and leading 6-0 2-0. Down by a set and a break, Krejcikova managed to finally get on the board by breaking the Pole in the third game. However, the top-seeded Pole remained unfazed and closed out the match in two sets after registering another break in the eighth game for a 5-3 lead and serving out for the match in the following.
