Kiera Hogan has officially departed AEW after being quietly removed from the companys roster page.
According to a report from Fightful Select, sources within AEW indicated that her exit was expected, with at least one person pointing to a contract expiration as the reason. There was no backstage drama tied to her departure, and the company had even publicly wished her a happy birthday just two days before the update.
Hogan joined AEW in August 2021, first appearing on AEW Dark before becoming a regular presence on programming. She gained the most attention during her time alongside Jade Cargill as part of The Baddies, but her appearances slowed down dramatically. She has not wrestled on AEW television in well over a year and a half, and her last Ring of Honor match came around that same time.
Over the past year, Hogan shifted much of her focus outside the ring. She was featured on season six of Joselines Cabaret on the Zeus Network, where she suffered a shoulder injury during filming. That injury, combined with her other commitments, limited her wrestling activity. She only stepped into the ring once this year, competing at AS Vegas in April.
Despite being gone from AEW programming for months, Hogan had been preparing for a return last year by training with Cezar Bononi. Those familiar with her situation still expect her to wrestle again while also pursuing opportunities in television and entertainment, including actively touring with Joselines Cabaret this fall.
With her AEW chapter now closed, Hogans future could still include wrestling, but for now she appears to be balancing her ambitions in both sports and entertainment.
