Many had doubts when it was announced that Keegan Bradley would be the captain of the American team. Although it was expected that Tiger Woods could take over the role, PGA of America executives decided to go the other way, believing Bradley to be the right person for the challenge.
Whether Bradley had problems dealing with various criticisms and prejudices is hard to say.
However, it is certain that such comments can be a serious motivation for him at the upcoming Ryder Cup.
Paul McGinley, a well-known face of the golf scene, in a conversation with Ryan Lavner pointed out that he is delighted with the work of Keegan Bradley. In addition, he emphasizes that the captain of the American team will have the support of the audience, as well as the wider public.

He also reflected on Keegan's approach, believing that he has done a great job and shown that he can really be an important figure of this generation.
In terms of Keegan, hes coming with a very, very strong team, Paul said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.
Hes got a huge support behind him.
Hes in the heartland of America in New York. We know the crowd are going to be incredibly supportive, and its a golf course that he can tailor to suit his team. So, hes got a lot of things going for him.
Hes a nice guy. I like Keegan, I must say. And I think his press conference announcing the picks was very impressive, and again, I think hell be a very, very good captain."
Patriotism
To achieve success with a team, it is important to be a patriot and a person who truly feels his country with his heart and wants to do everything to celebrate.

Bradley has shown countless times in his career how much he respects his country and how much he is willing to do anything to make his country proud.
Many eyes will be on him, but also on the team that will represent America in the upcoming edition. Bradley wants to make the citizens of America proud, aware that they have a difficult task ahead of them.
"I know hes incredibly patriotic. Hes incredibly proud to be an American. And I think thats going to be a big calling card for him to play on that patriotism to get the crowd where he needs them to be. So were aware of that, and I guess, like every rookie captain, you dont really know until the captaincy is over."
