Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam and hes now set for a huge match at WWE Wrestlepalooza. While many assumed ESPN might have played a role in Lesnars appearance at Wrestlepalooza, ESPN has made it clear thats not the case.

During the WWE-ESPN media call, ESPN executives were asked by reporter Jon Alba about Brock Lesnars involvement on WWE programming while he is named in active lawsuits against WWE and Vince McMahon.

ESPN explained that WWE keeps full creative control over its storylines and talent. The network also made clear that it does not request specific wrestlers for shows, so any decision to feature Lesnar rests entirely with WWE.

The Beast Incarnate will be duking it out with John Cena at WWE Wrestlepalooza in one of the most highly anticipated matches in recent memory. Its clear WWE wants to use Lesnar as much as possible because hes a huge name, so his involvement at Wrestlepalooza was not a surprise.

Are you excited to see Brock Lesnar face John Cena at WrestlePalooza? Do you think WWE made the right call keeping full creative control under its own roof despite the ESPN partnership? Sound off in the comments.
