Rob Van Dam isnt making a comeback anytime soonand according to the WWE Hall of Famer, his road to recovery has been longer and tougher than expected.
On a new episode of TMZ Inside The Ring, RVD opened up about the double heel fracture he suffered during a match on April 5, 2025. The injury, which occurred during his first match back after a year off, has kept him sidelined for more than five months. RVD thought hed be back in the ring within two months. That didnt happen.
While the physical setback has been frustrating, RVD admitted the mental break has had its perksespecially after decades of life on the road.
When asked if he sees himself stepping back into the ring in the future, RVD didnt give a firm yes or no. His answer reflected someone genuinely torn between closure and one last run.
He then explained the internal battle hes been wrestling with during his recovery.
For now, the whole damn show is staying on the shelf. But whether Rob Van Dam ever laces up the boots again remains anyones guesseven his own.
