Natalya just punched her ticket to a future title shot in Mexico.
During WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on September 12, 2025, the former WWE Womens Champion defeated Faby Apache in a physical showdown to become the #1 contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
The match opened with a tense lock-up and quickly broke down into a fight. Apache took control early, grounding Natalya and landing stiff strikes, but Natalya came back swingingliterally. After landing a discus clothesline and series of short-arm lariats, she turned the match into a technical clinic.
At one point, Natalya locked in a sleeper hold and then transitioned into a punishing surfboard stretch. Apache responded with a cradle for a near-fall and followed up with a flying body press and big boot, nearly sealing the deal.
As both women traded submissionsApache targeting Natalyas ankle, and Natalya countering into a flurry of pin attemptsthe finish came with Natalya rolling Apache up for the win.
Things didnt end with the bell, though. After the match, Natalya and Apache had to be separated by the referee as tempers flaredclearly, this rivalry isnt over.
Natalyas win places her squarely in line for a shot at AAAs top womens title, and fans will now be watching closely to see when she cashes in that opportunity.
